Default Hard case for Blackbird Super OM?

Decided to get rid of the gig bag. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

With that odd side sound hole that is bridged (no upper waist) I'm not sure. I suggest taking the guitar into a music store and trying cases to see if anything works. Or you could try calling Joe at Blackbird and see if he has any ideas....

Lastly you might try Ted at LA Guitar Sales. He is a Blackbird dealer and might know if anyone does. He even still has one in stock, although they are out of production now, in favor of eKoa models.

I'd guess that a Hiscox case might work, actually. They don't follow the typical waistline of a guitar, so it might be able to...trying's the only way to know, of course.

MAYBE LOOK FOR CASES FOR CRAVIOLAS?

The originals are probably too large for the OM, but there was an American company that sold a Craviola-wanna-be that we more guitar sized--darned if I can remember the company.

Giannini makes a craviola copy about the size of a OM or so.

Good catch, GR. I used to own a Super, but darned if I can remember what I did for a case--the guitar mostly sat out in the living room.

Thanks for the replies. I'll have to check out the Hiscox.

I emailed Blackbird but no reply.

Call and ask for Joe. A call will get WAY more priority than one of 1,000 random emails arriving that day. I have a Hiscox case, and it looks promising, but no Super OM to try. My guess is that it would work, but no way to know for sure. My Emerald X20 came with the Hiscox.

Default TRIC case?

It's not a hard case, but it is very protective. and not terribly expensive This occurred to me last night as I was putting my X20 into the TRIC case that I've been using lately for jams. It has the same general interior shape as the Hiscox, and should work for the Super OM. Mine is several years old and doesn't have the guitar shape in the foam, just some fuzzy pads in key places to support the guitar, but has a tan Cordura outside cover with shoulder straps and an accessory pocket. Maybe mine isn't the latest Deluxe version, which appears to be upgraded. It looks like the interior of this one at 34 seconds in.
