Thanks for the kind words!

For the woods... the head cab is mostly spalted maple with a walnut stripe around it. The front and back faceplates are of cherry. The finish is 3 coats of danish oil...applied...wait 5 minutes and wipe completely dry...then follow with two coats of Minwax floor wax.

The faceplates are held on by antiqued bronze furniture bolts into walnut blocks on each side.

The handle...custom made by Bob of Brookwoodleather.com (Virginia) and the knobs by Justin of Xentricguitars.com. The knobs are matched to the walnut, too. But, the twist? The knobs have a mix of fluorescent dye that will really pop when a blacklight hits them. I'm toying with the idea of boring small holes into the back/bottom side of the front faceplate and point optical fiber to toward the knobs, fed by UV light.

The cabs were made to my spec by Blythe Engineering...raw cabs of which I did the finish work in exchange for consulting on their prototype amp. Two areas I still need to tend to...I've yet to apply danish oil to the back faceplate and interior of the speaker cab (I rushed to get this ready for an artist to demo). And, I think I've finally decided to put in 1/4 round covered with the grille cloth to hide the chassis on the lower right & left spots on front of the front of the head.

I'll have to say...the completely open back is a joy to play through!

Overall, I am really enjoying this amp!

Ha! Typos!! Should be 'put'.

Well, I have no spot to pop in photos (not using any service), so DropBox links are the next best thing, I suppose. Oh well.

The photos were there when I posted but they're gone now. I imagine it's like Photobucket where the pics may show up initially but then disappear shortly after. Imgur doesn't have that problem.

Great amp!

Yeah, I've hit so many forums with old photo bucket photos that are long gone...it's why I chose to just park mine in DropBox to share.

Final touch on the amp...drew the grill cloth into the head cab to tie it together.
