Thumbs up $OLD,,Thanks! Flame Maple Larrivee P-09 - Upgraded tuners + pickup - NICE!

First of all.....this is a very nice guitar...Gloss finish, rosewood binding and wonderful figure in the maple.

Secondly, no matter how many times I try to like the 24" scale guitar, my gorilla mitts get in my way!

$$$OLD, thanks! Got another guitar in my sights that will fit me better. I can send it on my FedEx account and save you a few bucks. JUST ADDED: New Roadrunner gigbag - fits perfectly!

Now about the guitar. I got this one from a member here at the Forum, and have spent the past few days TRYING to love the feel as much as I love the tone. The maple sound is very clean, balanced and not overly bright - I have an L-03 in Quilted Maple I love too, and that one's staying for a looong time....

Not a mark on it that I can find. Neck angle is perfect - frets look like new - I just had it setup at .085" - .070" with Clapton's Choice Martin Strings and a bone saddle. I've added Schaller mini tuners with Ebony buttons, and it already came with a Fishman UST with soundhole controls (no barndoor).

These photos were taken in my wife's garden about a week ago. Shoot me any questions! I'm going to spend the time it's up for sale attempting to get my monkey-mitts around it - maybe I'll pull the ad later.

The GS Mini feels cramped to me too..
But I think its more due to the nut width, than to the body shape/size..

I think the Larrivee Parlor has a 1 3/4" nut, yes?

The Larrivee is ALMOST big enough for me and yes, the nut width is 1.75". Where I have difficulty is playing up the neck - past the fifth fret or so I need to concentrate on precise finger placement to avoid buzzes.

It's almost worth the hassle - the 24" scale frets and bends wonderfully! The Taylor GS Mini is fun - I've played 'em but the scale is even shorter - 23-1/2"

FWIW, I wear a true XXXXL glove...I wear any glove that fits - even if the color is bubblegum pink, Ohio winters make me desperate!

No, it is the standard Larrivee "D" shape. Very comfortable and the same profile as my other larger Larrivees...
