JT & Bonnie Raitt in the house!!

Well, Saturday night we attended this concert in Providence and it was the experience of a lifetime!
As it turned out, this was the FINAL concert for them both......a series which has spanned two years. Needless to say the emotion was at super high levels as they all came together one last time. The full house of many thousands realized, I believe, what they were about to witness and also gave it their all to send these amazing artists on their way for the final time. The crowd, often, was literally deafening with cheers and good wishes. Both Bonnie and James at times seemed quite taken with what was happening, even with their decades of being with big crowds. It was really a moment to remember.
Too many amazing things to detail here on AGF, and I'm sure a bunch of you saw this concert in your respective towns. As the evening wound down ( over 3 hours between the two sets), JT and Bonnie concluded with " You can Close your eyes"..........and then walked from the stage with arms around each other.
Here's clip from 2 weeks ago of that moment as they remembered a colleague who had just passed away. Sat night was similar....a different reflection and emotion as they finished their tour.
