Default Info on "Mi Favorita"

I recently found this piece played by various guitarists on You Tube. Composer is unknown -- (anonymous).

The title looks obviously Spanish. Joel Sundkvist calls it a traditional Spanish piece. Most others refer to it as a 19th century "mazurka" --Polish folk dance. But the title doesn't support that.

The tune doesn't sound Spanish to me; more like central/eastern European.

So, can anyone shed some light on this? Ultimately, it doesn't really matter. I love it, but I'd like to tell people I play it for just what it actually is.
