Smile Greven 2013 0012S. Lacewood/Lutz Mint! SOLD!!! Thanks AGF

Greven 0012S in Lacewood/Lutz. 2013 build. A world class single luthier at the top of his game here, folks!!!

SOLD, to a forumite, thru EBay. He got a discount! Haha

http://rvrb.io/00-12-9dy. Now up on Reverb. Many more good pics!

John's website says $4,200 is his least expensive price, with at least a one year wait. His email below says replacement value is about $4,800 with case.

Save over $1500 and be enjoying her next week!!!

Flawless condition. Absolutely As New! Except for the smallest amount of fret wear, and one tiny pin prick on the headstock

Spectacular Lacewood and lovely golden tone on the very tight straight grain Lutz top.

Very deep, rich, and balanced vintage tone for such a small guitar!

1.75" at the comfortably rounded bone nut.
2.25" string spacing at the thru bone saddle
Very comfortable slimmer rounded V neck profile.

No mods, strap buttons or pickup. 100% acoustic goodness!

Ebony fretboard, pyramid bridge and (appears) binding.

Very traditional Martin appearance.
Slot headstock with smooth 3 on a plate tuners sporting ivoriod buttons.
Herringbone purfling and rosette.
Birds beak headstock volute.
Pretty blue ab slotted diamonds at frets 5, 7x2, 9, 12x2, and 14
Easily visible white dots on fretboard side.
Small teardrop beveled Greven tor-tis pick guard.

14 7/16" lower bout
9 15/16" upper bout
8 5/8" At waist
3 11/16" deep at neck heel
4 3/16" deep at butt end

Nice Superior black arch top hard shell case. All 5 latches work properly. Pretty plush green crushed velvet interior. No scratches, gouges or tears, and smells fine. It does have a very slight lift on the edge of the top by the handle, but works perfectly as is.

Greven does a complicated and structurally significant carve and join at the headstock. I can not tell by looking at it! The note below confirms this.

The Greven warranty follows the guitar, unlike most manufacturers and builders who only warrant to original purchaser.

I received this beauty in a double trade, figuring I would not be able to keep her. I had never experienced a Greven. I am pleased to have done so. Lovely, lovely instrument! But, alas, I have WAY too many, and something must go to help pay for my incoming custom John Kinnaird!!!

Any questions, fire away! I love to discuss guitars... Obviously!

Play more real music, the world needs it!!!

Link to Greven 00 description:

http://www.grevenguitars.com/tablet/...0-12-fret.html

Note from John Greven:

Paul;
Congratulations, you too are now an official Grevenista. Yes, the warranty follows the guitar and is lifetime (my life time by the way) and yes, it has the bird's beak neck. Done right it is quite invisible. As to replacement value at this point it would be on the order of $4800 with case.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for looking.
Play on and tune frequently!

Paul

Smile Pic help appreciated!

If a former owner can get pics up here I would be forever grateful! I do not want to go to Reverb until AGF gets a good chance at this cutie.

Thanks all

Cheers,

Paul

Smile Too many guitars

I know, it is a bit scary when you see something go round and around. In my case it was the result of a double trade with Carmel Cedar. He couldn't get used to the V neck, and I just have too many guitars.

Plus I'm playing almost every gig now completely acousticly. I need the volume from a big gun!!!

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this instrument! And it's gorgeous! And it sounds great and plays great. It's just not feasible for me to keep it.

I try to put as much information as possible in the listing. I know it's a lot of reading but check it out…

Cheers

Paul

Just curious here, how does anyone know they love it, if there are no pics yet? I know it's been up before, but all previous threads have been deleted, & I can find no pics. Kinda like me saying I love Phil Keaggy's next album, which hasn't come out yet.?.

Not at all! I seen this before and almost made a deal on it before.
It's a Gem. Why it's been sold a few times knowone knows. Personally I don't care either. I'd love to own it. I've heard nothing but the best things of Greven and lacewood

Smile So sorry for lack of photos

Thank You Rye!!!! MUST MENTION: THESE PICS MAKE THE GUITAR A BIT MORE YELLOW THAN IT'S GOLDEN HUE.

And thanks everyone for your nice comments! If I have not replied to anyone please shake my tree. Too many irons in the fire at the moment.

I am so tech challenged. Can I email anyone my pics and get some more help here?

Nothing wants to work from my iPad, and that is all I have! It does take good pics, tho.

Email me and I will send them ASAP.

Thanks all.

Cheers

Paul

Smile Interesting trade offers

Some nice offers for trades. I would prefer a sale, as I am overloaded and must sell a couple, but eagerly awaiting info on a couple possible trades.

Someone just buy this so I can pay for half of the next one...

Cheers

Paul

This is a fabulous guitar - and a wonderful seller! Great opportunity for someone looking for a Greven with outstanding tone woods (and an awesome looker too...).

I will attest to the greatness of a Greven 00-12 fret guitar. I have one, and it' wonderful.

It looks like you're not interested in trades, especially if you'd have to come up with cash to make it happen?

I've got a Santa Cruz Style 1 (think Martin 0-sized) guitar with Brazilian RW back/sides that I'd consider trading (the 0-size is just smaller than I really want, I've decided). But I'd want more than twice what you're asking here for this guitar.

Anyway, if you happen to be interested, send me an email or PM.
