Awesome! I'll be there in a splash!

Just FYI, 'build' images open up quickly for me -- never more than a second or two, at most, and usually all but immediately.

Thanks for the feedback folks. These final pics were taken with a different camera. Do you notice any difference in the speed of which they load?

Not sure about the camera, but it sure did make the guitar look great!

Thanks Dave. I not an expert photographer so I really don’t know what I’m doing nor the difference in the cameras. All the other pictures were taken with a point and shoot Cannon Powershot pocket digital camera. These final pics were taken with a larger Cannon DSLR so I wonder if they save the images in a different format? Regardless, I am glad you are able to finally see these pictures.

Hey thanks Tom. I’ve got a few more pics to post but I wanted to find out if these images are loading any different or perhaps even faster? Thanks again for your feedback.

I get butterflies and I smile as I gaze at this guitar. The woods, the quirky uniqueness and the finish silently scream, "Look at me."

You did good, Tim. You did real good.

I watched you work. I know the tremendous time it took but for me, by gum, this one was a fun piece from start to finish.

I like my job.

Hey thanks for the kind words John. This has been a fun project for us. The guitar was shipped a couple days ago and is safely in the hands of its new caretaker. Here are a couple final shots:

Its fun trying to imagine what others see in this photo. I see a soldier, with his helmet on and wearing a poncho, perhaps in the rain? What do you see in the back's intense grain figuring?

During the McJam Tim had a new attendee order, a McKnight Guitar called she has already named "My Angel." You will begin to see pictures of her guitar. It will have angels made from her grandpa's ivory of the piano he owned and she played in our younger years.

Teri brought her sister, Marcia, to the McJam 2022. To Marcia's surprise her great sister (maybe her favorite sister now) Teri purchased a McKnight Brazilian Rosewood guitar for her. Another McJam newbie has since contacted me hoping to buy that guitar but ... to late.

McJams are a joy for the luthier and this wife. Tim and I appreciate being able to share the stories of McKnight guitars. It helps us feel as though we are all a part of a bigger and better connected family.

Keep your eyes open for the thread where Teri will share her upcoming McKnight guitar. I am not the best photographer but today I am sending her a few pictures of her first set of double sides being glued together. If any of you have questions please let Tim take the helm and guide you to better understanding.

Until then, this is Mary "Doin' Life ...As a Luthier's Wife.
