Thanks John, very happy you like it

Yes, we were fortunate in that our friends at Prestige guitars were setting up to do a photo shoot of some of their stuff, and kind enough to include your guitar in the mix.

I've only seen a few screen shots but they look pretty slick.

They should land pretty soon...

Congratulations, John. I've been following your build with great interest while waiting for my Halcyon number to come up.

Just wondering what pickup Ed put into it. He was suggesting a Schatten HFN for my build.

That is the one.

I have the pics now, but I have to figure out how to teach my computer to understand what a tiff file is, which will be fun, cause I like computers a lot (I don't)...

So you got your answer from the man ! I was looking for something to simply yet faithfully reproduce the natural sound of the guitar and nothing else. No high, mid, low adjustments etc. Keep it simple ! And boy does this deliver, if that's what you want. You may have noted that I had to adjust the reverb on my acoustic amp to a long delay just to distinguish between tone from the amp and tone from the guitar. It's that faithful.

Of course the natural tone from the guitar to the pick up and out the amp is only as good as the acoustic amp you're using. I have been very pleased with my Guitar Center Acoustic AG 30. Not a name brand, not real expensive but does a good job and is faithful in reproduction.

John
