Default Savarez strings

Just took off the Elixir PB 12’s from the OM40R and installed Savarez PB 13’s. Initially, that zing that I didn’t like about the Elixirs is already gone, so I’m happy. Because that zing is gone, I would use the word “warm”. They feel very nice and not any more difficult to play as mediums than the Elixir lights. Elixirs are almost too slippery to me. As these aren’t coated, longevity will be a question. If anyone else has any experience with Savarez strings, please let me know.

I'm a fan of Savarez strings and do use them (PB's), except I use lights. I actually just ordered a set of their 80/20's to try on my rosewood backed dread, currently have the PB's on it. Probably won't find many users here, but like I said, I use and love them!

I've used Savarez classical strings forever, didn't know they made PB strings, have to give them a try.

Tried them a few weeks back.

Good but nothing special - the guitar I was using transforms to another level with DR Sunbeams, these Savarez didn't do that.
