Top crack on a Martin DCX1E
https://goo.gl/images/7yFwUw
Hi all, I just bought a used 2006 Martin DCX1E for its great sound and easy playability. It has a crack (not open) on the lower bout. I want to restore the guitar's humidity by using damp sponges in a plastic bag. Do you think this will keep the crack from getting worse? Is it important to take it to a luthier or is it possible to fix it myself with glue? Or, should I not have it fixed since it doesn't affect the sound? Thank you!

Once the guitar has been humidified bring it to a Luthier and have the crack repaired. It’s an inexpensive fix and will keep it from getting worse.
