Default NGD Eastman T185MX

Back in August I visited my oldest son’s family in Minneapolis, and stopped by Fret Central, the new department for acoustic fretted instruments at Quinn Violins. They have a nice selection of acoustics, especially Eastmans, including a dozen or so electric arch top semi hollow bodies. There was also a solid body Les Paul style Eastman, which I tried, and the staff person helping me, a violinist, said he liked the T185MX best. I tried it and immediately loved the neck, action and sound. I’d been wanting a Gibson 335, but it wasn’t in my budget. The Eastman turned out to be a better, affordable choice, and the size and feel are perfect, and I remembered reading good things about the T185MX on this forum. They gave me a good deal, and shipped it to me in CA. Marty (well known from the Podium) does their setup work, and checked it again before it left.
Here are the specs: https://www.eastmanguitars.com/t185mx
And photos...

Suggestions for a strap would be great. Also, I want to let all of you know how much I appreciate the comradery and good advice on this sub forum.

Beautiful guitar. I love ES-335 guitars, and this Eastman is all solid woods. I'm turning green . Have a blast!

Congrats! I like at least a 2.5" width strap on my electrics but that looks like a light guitar. A black strap or dark leather would go well with that red.

I bought a LeatherGraft leather strap a few months ago and it's fantastic. Just one option among many (make sure you check the length):

Congratulations, seannx! The all-solid hollow body guitars are truly something special. I picked up a 2016 Eastman T185MX this summer, and I absolutely love the vibe on this guitar. Great tone and sustain, and it's super comfortable to play.

I picked up a wide, black leather strap, which is fine for my needs. I can PM you the link (via Amazon).
