The chords I use are C Am F Dm G. I know F is a barre chords but just play it in a different key. I believe G will get the same results while avoiding any barre chords

I play it mostly open with these chords:
Intro: G G6 G G6 G G6 G G6 Verse: G G6 G G6 G G6 G G6 C Am7 C Am7 G Em G Em Chorus D D D D C Am C Am Bridge Em G C D Em G C D Strumming I just kind work out from listening and this song probably has a bunch of YT videos ... I get ideas from YT, but usually tailor to my own playing skill and style.

Johnnyboy, try this lesson, half way through he teaches how to strum through the song (using open chords).
