Sure does. If guitar's finish can handle dilute ammonia, then it's a great cleaner. Would be cautious trying it without checking with the guitar's maker or others that have tried it.

It would be my luck to have issues with it, there is window cleaner with out ammonia available, but with all the other good cleaning methods and products available, why take a chance.
