Picked one up recently and I really like it.
The reverb however, seems too sensitive and has
weird echo going on. I have dialed almost down to zero.
Any users out there?

I just got mine today and really got it for a great price brand new. I have very limited experience with a pedal of any type. Hoping to get a few tips here. I do have a few questions but I will hold off until i see if anyone responds to this thread as I see it is a bit old. Thanks.

There are some good videos on Youtube showing various folks running the unit through it paces. Keep it simple at first and just use the effects sparingly to enhance your sound...not change it drastically.

Thanks. I will check those out. I am also curious as to what to do with other settings. Right now I have 3 choices for amps. A Katana of which I would use the acoustic setting, a Yamaha THR10 and I would also use the acoustic setting on that also and a Vox AC10. The Katana has a aux in and I wonder if I should use that? What do you put the amps settings on? Do you turn them all the way off? Same thing with the acoustic guitar premap settings? I have a Yamaha and it has quite a few settings on them.

Or should I just buy a small Flat Response Speaker and go with that???

Sorry I'm no expert when it comes to hooking it up to amps and stuff. I have a TC Helicon unit and I just go right into my amps main channel. Maybe someone else can chime in and help you out? I know it gets complicated with all the volume controls you have. The guitar you want pretty high...full or almost full so you can fine tune onstage. I would start with the volume level on the Soulmate at around 12 o'clock and then set your amp volume to the level needed.

Been looking at the Soulmate for a while now and managed to snare a 2nd hand unit up for £120 cheaper than RRP. Looking forward to receiving it and having a play around with it. It seems a really comprehensive unit!!

[QUOTE=AeroUSA;5586471]I added button risers to make looping easier

Can you point me to 'button risers'? Sounds interesting, but my searches
came up empty. Thanks.

Those are also really easy things to print if you have access to a 3d printer -

I recently bought these. They arrived quickly, fit perfectly and work great. Make sure you get the correct ones though (I think it’s the 3PDT but can’t remember). Just measure the head of the foot switch with a ruler.

FINALLY snagged one of these for a good price. They are hard to find used! I guess everyone holds onto them?

Anyway, can't wait to try it out. Anyone got any setup tips for first time
users?
