Default Run To Me, Bee Gees 1972

"Run To Me" by the Bee Gees.
Released in 12 April 1972.

If ever you got rain in your heart
Someone has hurt you, and torn you apart
Am I unwise to open up your eyes to love me
And let it be like they said it would be
Me loving you girl, and you loving me
Am I unwise to open up your eyes to love me
Run to me whenever you're lonely
(To love me)
Run to me if you need a shoulder
Now and then, you need someone older
So darling, you run to me
And when you're out in the cold
No one beside you
And no one to hold
Am I unwise to open up your eyes to love me
And when you've got nothing to lose
Nothing to pay for, nothing to choose
Am I unwise to open up your eyes to love me
Run to me whenever you're lonely
Run to me if you need a shoulder
Now and then you need someone older
So darling, you run to me
Run to me whenever you're lonely
Run to me if you need a shoulder
Now and then you need someone older
So darling, you run to me
Run to me whenever you're lonely

Songwriters: Barry Gibb, Robin Gibb, Maurice Gibb

Nice version of a great song. A lot of people don't realize that the Bee Gees were incredible songwriters. I guess it gets lost in the whole disco thing.

Anyway, thank you for reminding us all of the Gibb boys, Barry, Maurice, and Robin. And even Andy, lol.

Thank you, my friend, for such wonderful feedback!
The Bee Gees were definitely incredible songwriters, especially the early songs, way before the disco explosion.
You are very welcome, and Barry, Maurice and Robin will always be remembered.
And their little brother Andy!!!
Love your comments!!!
Warm regards,
Rene
