Question Yamaha LL16 and LS16 Mahogany acoustics

Good day, everyone
I apologize if this has already been asked and answered. Has anyone been able to find out which variety of Mahogany is being used by Yamaha on their L-series guitars? All I've been able to find is "solid Mahogany." Thanks.

When I a label of “solid Mahogany” without the additional signifier of Honduran, or Central American, then I assume it’s African Mahogany. (Which also often goes under the name of Khaya but that has less marketing gravitas). If it were Honduran Mahogany they would say so because that’s perceived to be more valuable.

That's pretty much what I was thinking, too...and I love the way that it sounds. Thanks!

The pictures of the ones I see online certainly look like Sapele.
