Arrow 2020 Taylor Custom GS - Walnut / Euro Spruce - Mint - $NO LONGER AVAILABLE

No longer available - a custom Taylor BTO in rare spec. Original owner, retailed at over $5k.

Specs:
  • 2020
  • Grand Symphony (16-1/4" lower bout)
  • Figured Claro Walnut
  • European Spruce
  • Sitka X-Bracing
  • 25.4" scale
  • 2-3/16" string spacing (bridge)
  • Gotoh 510 21:1 tuners (antique gold / ebony buttons)
  • flamed maple body / fingerboard / headstock binding
  • no electronics ever installed

I have recently picked up a guitar from a favorite builder, and I cannot keep (2) guitars at this time. I love the tone of this instrument, however circumstances do not permit me to retain it.

If you are looking for a responsive, throaty guitar with exceptional string balance and articulation, look no further.

Walnut offers a clarity and punch that is distinct from Rosewood. It is close to Koa, however has a woody, raw tonality.

When played finger style, this Walnut guitar lets your melody notes in the mid strings sound clearly, as I have heard in Koa and Mahogany, however has a deep resonant bass response and shimmering trebles.

The Walnut GS is superb for drop / alternate / open tunings.

If you are a fan of Taylors, and are looking for something unique, this is a great choice. Also -- if you haven't loved most Taylors you have played, this may still be something worth hearing. I have never heard a Taylor quite like it.

Thanks for your interest.

Yeah have to admit that’s a special one to let go of. I’d love to play one like it.
