E7, A7 and B7. Teach them 12 bar blues and the treble pentatonic patterns 3 5, 1st and 2nd string, and 5 7, 5 8 frets 1st and 2nd strings respectively. They can take turns playing rhythm and lead.

Teaching them to make music of their own with endless variations would be pretty entertaining for them.
