Default Switching light to medium frequently

When switching from extra light or custom Light to medium gauge strings and back again frequently on an acoustic guitar, would the necessary adjustment of truss Rod and action, have any permanent or lasting effects leading to a sooner than usual neck reset or weakened neck body joint?

A neck reset is due to the guitar folding in half at the sound hole, not due to the neck or the joint at the body.

Just play. There might be changes. So? Just play. The more we can adapt to the instrument in our hands, the better player we'll be.

Stop changing strings frequently and you won't have to worry about it.

Constant truss rod adjustment may create wear on the threads.

Heavier strings may hasten a reset, maybe not.

Frequent string changes are understandable, some performing musicians change them after every gig, but what is the reason for changing from light to mediums?

If this is a Taylor or Martin Dred, mediums are fine (but why change to lights?) If you got a small body custom instrument, you should never load it up with mediums, or as Fathand indicated, you're setting it up for a neck reset.
