Default 1952 Martin 00-17

Up for sale is an incredible 1952 Martin 00-17. Here’s the video demo:

https://youtu.be/9nyJieeoX3s

All mahogany construction, no cracks except for a couple in one area on the back – this area is supposed to have received a bit of finish touchup, but I can’t really see it. Otherwise, the beautiful finish is entirely original. The neck has been reset, the tuners replaced, and a pickup removed. This guitar is in amazing condition for its age, though. 1 11/16” nut width.

It sounds massive – I couldn’t believe it when I first strummed it. One of the best smaller-body Martins I’ve played. It works wonderfully for fingerstyle but also handles a flatpick very well.

Asking $3,100 + shipping. No trades, please.

Default 00-18

HI

I like your 00-17. I know you said no trades but,....

I see you are selling some guitars so maybe..

I have a great sounding and loud crackly dry, mostly original 47 00-18. any chance you might be interested plus some cash?

If not not worries. nice playing by the way.

Man, why must you tempt me this?! I'm trying to buy back my OM1AJL, but man I've been craving something vintage and mahogany...

What part of Nashville are you in? I may have to come check this one out :-)

Phenomenal tone! Wish it had a fat 1 3/4 nut neck...

Yep, a small bodied tone monster. Nice playing Forrest. Wish I could, wish I could...
