Furch/Stonebridge new 'Blue Planet' series- looks nice!
So I noticed this new model from the Furch workshop the other day whilst browsing around eBay... It seems like it's so new that the Furch website doesn't even have it there!
Anyways, from what I have found out from one of Furch's main dealers Stageshop Guitars, it looks like the company have decided to go for the sustainable woods approach, which is quite admirable I must add. Their 23-SW has a sitka top, black walnut b/s, euro maple neck, and an artificial ebony fretboard. The binding is also black walnut, and the guitar has a decorative turquoise/maple inlay on the twelfth fret. Here's the link to the page: http://stageshop.hu/furch-g23-cutawa...6892c285ce394e Since it is a brand new model, and not even known on the European market yet, I wouldn't expect it to get across the pond too soon, but I just wanted to announce it to any Stonebridge lovers here So what do you think, excited, or not? Josh

A shame they didn't simply use more walnut for the bridge and fretboard. It's hard enough to wear reasonably well.

Cool of them to do this, and those are some pretty nice specs. I'd be glad to try one out if I could get my hands on it.
