What an awesome labor of love from Glenn and the Willow brothers. They all kinda look like you Glenn.
Very well done! You keep those classic hits alive and well!
Superb!

Aside from the fact that you sing and play wonderfully, the productions you put together are unbelievably cool, man!
And the telecaster riffs were the perfect addition.
Nicely done Willow!

Very nice job and I'm glad you're back in the saddle. Laryngitis ain't no fun, although you could always use that downtime to work on instrumentals.

Thanks for sharing!
Hi Kerbie!

Thanks so much for commenting here! I'm so glad to know you are listening!

I know that the Everly Brothers' music is a little early for a lot of people who are maybe 10 years or so younger than I am. So I realize that there's a fair percentage of people who aren't going to know a song like this.

But,... you know... I couldn't quite help myself because to me, this was one of the great Everly songs, a huge hit when I was just a kid. And I have always loved this song.

Regarding working on instrumental pieces, my wife had repeatedly mentioned the same thing -- why not work on an instrumental piece? That is certainly good advice!

I hope all is well for you Kerbie!

Hi Frankie!

Thanks so much! What wonderful comments! And you know, I also like the Telecaster riffs a lot! I copied those riffs from whoever it was that played with the Everlys on their first recording of this song. When I hear the song in my head, those Tele riffs are always in the song, so I HAD to find a way to put those into my recording!

I also appreciate your comments about the overall final production. Since there are a fair number of parts to this song recording, it was not too hard to change scenes and find just the right thing to show at the right point in the music. Thanks so much for mentioning the production!

I am so pleased that you like this!

Thank you Jamie!

How nice to receive your comments and know you are listening! This, too, is my absolute Everly Bros song! I was really hoping I could get this done and was so relieved the other day to realize that it was going to finally happen!

Thanks so much for your comments Jamie! I'm glad you feel that this came out okay!

I need to get some of that laryngitis so I can sing like Glenn. Can I buy it on the Internet?

Seriously ladies and germs, I've always had a soft-spot for the Everly Brothers sound. When I was growing up in Iowa, DJs would often remind listeners that they started singing professionally while living in southern Iowa.

As usual, Glenn nails the vibe of the original, and it was nice to see/hear that one man band audio-visually.

Thank you Frank!

How terrific to hear from you! I also learned that the Everly Brothers started out in Iowa and then later in Kentucky. Their parents had those boys on the radio in the AM before school started, singing their harmonies. What a cool story!

I am so glad you enjoyed this, Frank! And I am very appreciative that you took the time to comment here!

Hi Glenn! A favorite for sure!! Shades of a junior high dance..........unsure to head across the room to ask a "certain someone" to dance, ........thinking, "what the heck am a doing" .......and making the move anyway!!
It's amazing what these classic songs bring back from the old days......happy to hear them again..........happy to hear YOU playing them again!!
Another great one! Congrats on getting your voice back in shape!

Thank you Fred!

Yes, "Cathy's Clown" does bring back memories of junior high and high school dances, doesn't it!! I had forgotten! And you and I are pretty close to the same age, so we would be remembering the same kind of events at that young age!

Thanks for your supportive comments and for taking the time to listen! I hope is well for you!
