Default NGD Ibanez AC240 (Pics Added)!

I just pulled the trigger on an Ibanez AC240 over on Reverb!

I've been wanting to try one out for a while now, and finally went for it. It was listed as MINT condition, and it comes with a heavily padded Ibanez gig bag. I would have paid $400 for it new with a nice bag plus tax, but got it for half that including shipping. I hope it's as nice as all the reviews.😀

Finally had a chance to take some photos.

Congratulations. I'm gonna be buying a relatively inexpensive acoustic at some point to play when we visit our daughter out west and leave there for future visits. This one is on my short list, along with a couple of Yamahas, a couple of Alvarez models, maybe a Taylor Big Baby (but probably not). I'm gonna try to play them all before our first visit out there (probably not until next Spring), and order one through a shop out there.

Look forward to your impressions - I hope you love it...

-Ray

Congrats, Mike. I've had one of these for over a year now, and it has become my go to daily player. Really like it for fingerpicking, and it does ok under a flatpick as well. Enjoy!

I have had mine for over a year. My most played guitar since it arrived. Amazing for the cost.

Congrats! That particular guitar seems to continually get rave reviews. Sure is a good looking guitar.

That's why I have it a shot, and the reviews are correct, it is a fantastic instrument. Build quality, playability and tone are better then my Martin DRS1 that costs almost 3X as much. The Ibanez also has a real Rosewood fretboard and bridge, not Richlite. Tone is very subjective, but to my ears it sounds better.

I'm very happy with my purchase to say the least.😀

The nut is 1.75" with 1.5" string spacing.
