Good job. One of my favorite Petteway tunes.

Beautifully done, Remy!! Also one of my favorites. I learned it a bunch of years ago and sometimes return to it to keep it at least a little under my fingers!!
All the best,
Fred

Nice! Heard it first thing in the morning over the first cup of coffee.

Stunningly Beautiful and beautifully rendered. Which guitar are you playing? It, too, is a beauty.

Thank you for your attention! It is a guitar of the French luthier Jean-Marie Fouilleul the N ° 500. Top in Sitka and rosewood back of Madagascar. The decoration is inspired by Art-Déco. It is a very sensitive guitar, very reactive, of a great richness, built like a classical guitar

Nice job Rémy!

I know the song well and have recorded this myself. I enjoyed your version!

Thank you Glenn. Yes I just listen to your version. We each have our own way of interpreting a title and that's what's interesting, I think.
On your video I feel that the strings are very flexible (11/52 or 10/47) right?

Hi Rémy,

The strings that I use on my Santa Cruz FS are standard D'Addario EJ16, which are light gauge (high E = 0.012" dia.), Phosphor Bronze.

I agree, though, that the strings sound very flexible, though I am not sure why that is. Maybe it's just my attack on the strings. The cedar top on that guitar seems to impart a kind of bouncy tone; that also might be what we are hearing.

Hope all is well for you!

- Glenn

We should a thread where we all post our versions.. I have to finish mine. I cut my version short for some reason when I recorded it way back when. (2008)
