We truly cannot imagine a better looking or more versatile guitar than this. Sonically, it combines the volume and sustain of a Dreadnought with the flawless balance of an Orchestra Model. The bass is like a tidal wave that dissolves just before crashing into the shore, inviting the brilliant trebles to sparkle on its surface. The sustain is endless without compromising note definition. Each string shines out like a separate star in the night sky.

Visually, Dana’s inspired appointments demonstrate a mastery of style as well as sound. The multi-color herringbone trim is both traditional and bold. The Koa binding frames the tightly-grained Adirondack top beautifully. Turn it around, and you’ll reveal a masterpiece of Madagascar Rosewood, with stunning reddish figure and a striking pale stripe. Even the tuners are worth showing off, with gold machinery and snakewood buttons.

This guitar handles rhythm like double bass and lead like a violin. Played fingerstyle, it sounds like a harp. If you love exploring new places, but prefer to do so in style, this guitar will be the perfect fit. It’s adventurous as it is capable, and it knows no limitations.

Undoubtedly the most beautiful Bourgeois I’ve ever seen. Such a nice set of Madagascan rosewood.
