Martin D-42 questions
Hi all,
When did Martin move from 1&11/16 to 1&3/4 nut width? Also when did they start using the gold Tuners with the S on them? Was this all part of the 2018 changes?

Yep, that was part of the Reimagined line. The open gear schallers are great.

I believe it was 2018 with the Reimagined series. I had two of them but couldn't get use to the low oval neck profile and the performance taper so I sold them. I wish they made it with the Mod V neck with the 1 3/4" nut.

Yep...I have a 2018 D-41 with all the “reimagined” features. It’s a superb guitar. Here’s a great guitar.com review of the new 41 that talks about all the changes, which are true for the 42 as well...
