Just for a second I thought this was inlayed in the back.

Haha....shiny objects are tough to shoot with a phone outdoors on a sunny day. [emoji4]

Humidity issues early this summer set me back a bit, but it looks like I’ll have the maple cutaway done just in time for The Boutique Guitar Showcase at summer NAMM.

This Mahogany is just stunning, first coat of finish applied, a few more to go.

I had the opportunity to meet James at the Festival, and briefly try this guitar. This was my first guitar show, so there was a lot to take in. First of all, a heck of a nice guy! This guitar is gorgeous, the workmanship is flawless, the design is really interesting with the double back.
Good thing I'm not in the market for a new guitar as this one is impressive, a lot of guitar here. Somebody is going to be very happy with this one.

Thanks for the very kind words!

I met a lot of people at the show, so I’m not sure which one was you! [emoji23]

Well, it’s coming down to the wire because the spring humidity issues, but I think I’m going to make it in time for Summer NAMM! The bridge is glueing and frets will go in tomorrow.

Pictured is the eco poxy finished maple fingerboard and my captured nut design.

This one will be done tomorrow with not a moment to spare as it’s got to be in Nashville for NAMM by Thursday!

Beautiful work, Dion! I love the clean lines and simple headstock. Enjoy yourself at NAMM!

Thanks! I hope my guitar is enjoying itself at NAMM, I’m not there though. It’s with the Boutique Guitar Showcase.

A few more shots of the rosewood/Italian model No.04. In these photos one can get a better look at my inlaid nut, and eco-poxy finished neck.
