I love that you've specified mahogany!

These guys are good friends of mine. I look forward to visiting them in their shop again and to having them visit my home again.

Thanks for posting the specs.

That will be good fun! And result in a sweet axe, too!

Enjoy the build and visit!

Apart from my next student build (after Nemoman's), I have a commission in the works with Steve and Ryan-a SJ baritone! Double trouble at Kinnaird west in 2022 for me.

I also have a commission planned with Brian Itzkin for early 2022. It will be a very special build, a nylon crossover deeply rooted in the history of classical guitar but with the ergonomics suitable for a steel string player. I've followed Brian's work for years and decided the time to act was now after hearing a demo of a recent build of his:

Luckily for me the timing was right as he's about to raise his base price at the start of the new year. I'd suggest for anyone interested in his work reach to out to him soon and get on his build list!

I’ve got a Trail Boss coming from Kevin Kopp towards the end of the year…I’ve added a photo of the mahogany we’re going to use. The hog is on the left.

A Stephen Holst archtop. He says it's in the finishing room now.

Default 2022 arrival

Finishing touches on my Crosby 12 Fret being done. Great builder out of Nova Scotia Canada. ( such a bargain with the exchange rate )

I'm expecting a Ben Wilborn Arum model (Braz and Tunnel Redwood are current woods), late in the fall! I'm so looking forward to it!

My best to each of you this holiday season and a blessed New Year!
