I have a few Sennhieser e935's. They are GREAT mics. Superb on Vocals. I've even used them for overhead on drums or for Snare/Hi-Hat.

Last year i bought a 945 which I sold to my female singer since it fit her voice better. I bought a 935 (or 955? I forget) which worked better for my voice but after using it for a long while I went back to my Beta 58. Still have the Senn though.

Default An update!

Based on the glowing reviews in this thread and the attractive price I went ahead and ordered one of these mics. It is very, very impressive! I don't have the strongest voice on the planet but this mic gives me the boost I need similar to my Blue EnCore 300 (which, granted, is a condenser mic) and love but there are not nearly as many feedback issues, plus I don't need the 48v power that the 300 requires. And the e935 is MILES better than the old standby SM 57 & SM 58. I like the e935 so much that I just ordered another one as a back-up and for use by any other vocalist who might sit in the me at gigs. If you're in the market for a dynamic mic that punches way above its weight, grab one of these while they are still on sale for only $99 from most of the major online retailers!

I had been debating whether to buy one or two, and when I finally decided YOLO, found that they're on backorder now--but still accepting orders at the reduced price. Interestingly it no longer says the discount ends in a few days, instead they have the "special financing ends Dec. 31" note up. But I wouldn't count on anything.

I see in stock at Guitar Center this morn. Check other retailers and you may find.

Definitely. I guess I didn't make it clear, I ordered two e935s from Sweetwater, it's not like I need them immediately! But good to know Guitar Center, for example, still has them in stock at that price as of right now, I just checked.

If they had the deal here in Sweden i would probably order a couple for me and a bunch for work - we have 8 e945s at the theatre and for me they beat B58 hands down. Not that we are using any of them at the moment...

I do have 2 KMS104 at home so I’m alright until there is a deal...
