So, Hamilton blames his horrible performance on a tenny weeny piece of CF that went missing?

On a side note, anyone been watching the Netflix series F1 - Drive to Survive? It’s excellent, really gets into the players and personalities of the 2018 season.

Today's race was pretty amazing, for many reasons.

Respect to Hamilton for acknowledging it was Leclerc's race.

Yes, it really was!

If it hadn't been for a safety car finish it could have been a podium for Max, but young Charles deserved it.

Watching Lewis in the prep room before the podium being a "Daddy" to Charles was cute.

Both Renaults dying together ... wha?

Gonna watch the highlight again in a moment.

Azerbaijan next - great street race!

Vettel already slipping into his customary 'cracking under pressure' role with wasting two sets of tyres trying to keep up with Leclerc in qualifying and again battling Hamilton in the race.

Will be interesting to see how he copes with the pressure coming from both sides this year.

I thought Leclerc was very mature in post race interviews - let's hope he can keep this up.

Pity Charlie Whiting can't be with them for the 1000th race in China in a couple of weeks.

My wife and i have been watching it. She really loves it, it’s got a little too much personal drama in it for me but i do find it very entertaining. It has gotten me interested in F1 though to a degree. I saw a film at the Sedona film festival a while back, i think it was just called “1”. It was a documentary on F1 racing from the beginning days. So brutal...they had leather helmets an no guard rails. Literally no safety protocols. I would go out 3 or 4 times a year for the track weekends with the PCA when i had my Boxster but after seeing that film i skipped a whole season, it really shook me up. At any rate, i highly recommend “1” to anybody interested in F1 or even history for that matter.

I will second the recommendation for "1"

So nice to Vettle just melt down under the pressure. Perfect. I was hoping Lecerc was going to be fast, but I honestly had my doubts based on what I saw last season, guess I was wrong. Man was that a gift for Mercedes. They new it too, and, yes it was nice to see Hamilton mentoring Lecerc, cute kid.

Again, I liked to point out the massive mistake what's his face made by leaving Red Bull. Just like Alonso, he's running to the back of the pack, then into obscurity.

I see you don't get it.

Red Bull/Horner decided in 2018 to make Verstappen their number 1 driver.
Dan Ricciardo is better than being a number 2 driver ... in any team.

He didn't want to be like Mark Webber was to Sebastian Vettel in 2010/11/12/13
or Rubens Barrichello was to Michael Schumacher in 2000/01/02/03/04.

Renault recognized Ricciardo's talent and tripled his salary as part of their commitment to 'rebuilding' to the top program.
Just how quickly they sort out their problems has yet to be seen but they did say they expect it to take 2 years.

Can you see Max Verstappen and Red Bull winning the world championship in the next 2 years?

No, it's still Mercedes and Ferrari at the top.

Yea, you must be from TGP too, I never got anything over there either. Wasn't it you who was saying how Lecerc is the #2 driver and he's better realize that. We'll see.

I doubt they tripled Recardos salary, but if they did, then I can understand his move, but it's not because of the #1 or 2 thing. I've heard every interview from him and the teams and that was never a "thing". Whomever wins and shows pace will be the #1 driver. With the continuation of Vettle melting down under pressure, he's not the #1 driver right now in Marennelo, you can take that to the bank.

Hamilton + Mercedes = Formula 1 Champs.

Might as well give them the trophy now.

Yet, I have a lot of respect for Toto Wolff; he was pretty humble in regards to LeClerc after the race.

Ricciardo's little move was pretty funny this morning!

Some, earlier, had mentioned his moving backwards, well................ he was right!
