Every House Needs a Parlor

Thanks all for the great comments, so far. Yes, the Portland/Vancouver area has a great concentration of excellent instrument makers, as well as a vibrant and varied music community. And I love this climate that tends toward benevolent nurturing, gray days and wet winters. So much nicer than the depressing, relentless sunshine of San Diego where I started my guitarmaking career in the late 70's. (I know, I'm in the minority on this one)
