The feature I like most is the bluetooth midi control like the have on their L-series recorders. I have the L-20R and absolutely LOVE the iPad control! It would be a great feature to have on a small recorder, especially for recording yourself.
I just bought the H6 last month when it was on sale, and I was worried that it might already be out of date, but with the look and size of the H8, I’m glad I got the H6. My H6 is the all black model and one thing I like about it is that it doesn’t really stand out and look bad if it is in frame on a video. The H8 is a bit much. Not that I wouldn’t like to have it and use it in certain situations....

The touch screen is a nice feature. I notice more and more of the tech items are using touch, and I even recently purchased a Snark Touch metronome that is super easy to operate due to the touch display.
I'm beginning to think that the "H" number relates to an ever-ascending degree of how hideous these recorders are. I realize all those mics, XLR connectors, buttons, knobs, and assorted goo-gaas have to go somewhere, but this thing is embarrassingly ugly IMHO.
