Default Casimi "The Tree"

I've been very fortunate to have owned and played guitars built by some of the most talented builders on the planet. The one guitar that has escaped my grasp (until now) has been an instrument with back and sides from THE TREE mahogany. Thanks to Ben Montague at TNAG in the UK and the Casimi boys in South Africa this is about to change. The back for the C3S they are building for me is beyond comprehension. Enjoy!

That’s lovely. The wood from that tree is astounding.

Beautiful set of the Tree with the Lion King up top.

I'm sure the gang at Casimi will come up with something incredible!

Congrats on your build--looking forward to watching this one come to life.

Congratulations! I have no doubt that the Casimi duo will make you an absolutely sublime guitar.

Wonderful! Have you decided what top to pair with it?

I have a tenor uke with back sides from The Tree (see my avatar) and have it paired with a Lucky 12 spruce top (sinker sitka).

It's going to be spruce. I'm letting the Casimi boys pick the flavor.
