Default Composite Acoustics, anything new?

In another thread, in a different section of the forum, I think I remember rumblings that there might be something new coming from Composite Acoustics.

Now that the NAMM show is ongoing, is there anything new that has been announced or is at their booth?

Good things come in small packages this year - Introducing the all carbon fiber travel guitar, essentially a mini version of their popular GX with carved shaping on the back & an offset soundhole. Nothing small about Cargo's tone! Full midrange with good bass response to boot. Play it, you'll want one! Comes with matching gig bag, & small enough for easy airplane travel.

I have a pic, but don't know where to post it.

Were there any signs of a 12 string?

I received this info in a newsletter on the first day of NAMM from one of their dealers. No mention of a twelve string or any other new instruments. I guess we will have to wait to hear from someone who actually went to their booth.

Not that it isn't good news in general on the travel guitar, but I already have a Martin LXM that fills that niche for me. I was keeping my fingers crossed for a 12 string ( with no insider information, just hope-I know rainsong makes one but I like the CA tone much better )

I'm very interested to know more about the travel guitar. What's it look like? How much does it cost? So, how come there's no mention of it on the CA website. They tell all about the other new series rolled out at NAMM.

If you go back and look at their site, you will see they still have the info from the 2007 Summer NAMM.
I have a pic, It will not let me post it in this thread.

I saw the section on Summer NAMM. They mention two other new series, but nothing about a travel guitar.

This came from one of their dealers email newsletters on Thursday, the first day of NAMM 2008

I'm sure that if it is a hit at NAMM, they will reveal it on their web site next week when they return. The travel guitar is just being revealed this year at winter 2008 NAMM.

Hi Bobby...
You must post it to a hosting site like Picasa or Flickr or Photobucket, and then post the link to it.

And one is likely to gain less weight from buying the guitar

Seriously, I'm looking forward to an official announcement. As well as sound clips from anyone who cares to post them.
