Default Peavey Solo battery life

Hi, all,

I picked up a used Peavey Solo amp at an auction (for about $16.00). Aside from a broken DC Power receptacle, it seems to work fine. But I'm wondering how much playing life I can expect from the eight Alkaline D-cells that are called for.

The Peavey site is silent on this, and I've done a search on this forum without success. Can anybody clue me in?

I realize that this depends on volume level and such, but it would be nice to know whether I can expect a half an hour or four hours.
