Default Unexpected cigar box acquisition..

I had an electric guitar I didn’t really play much and listed on craigslist. A guy near me who makes handmade, including carving his own necks and everything, cigar box guitars, contacted me to see if I had any interest. I wasn’t all that familiar with the cigar box instruments. but his stu)ff looked really interesting so we got together so I could check some out. I was blown away by the quality. I chose the resonator he had because unplugged it still is decently loud. it does have a humbucker and sounds great plugged in. tuned to GDG it is great fun. He used all good hardware and pots. Just an overall cool experience.

I know there will be picture requests. due to my visual impairment, posting those is quite difficult for me though.

Time to learn some three string tricks!

It took me roughly 3 minutes to realize how fun this is for some dirty blues.

The raw sound makes me miss having a telecaster
