Default Ortega head and cabinet for acoustic

Has anyone ever tried this line of products, which looks pretty new on the market, cheap and probably promising?

Btw, an additional question for the amp savvy out there: the Ortega head is advertised as 100w at 4ohm but then the speaker outputs are 8 ohm. My (limited) understanding is that you should not connect a head to a lower impedance speaker or you will likely blow the transformers.. so, why rate the watts at an impedance which is not supported? Is this a marketing trick or am I wrong and it is actually ok to plug a 4 ohm speaker into a 8 ohm head?
