Happy new year.

I took a lot of pics this decade and these are the last of them taken NYE at sunset:

Rob, you always take stunning pics. That last one frame's the bird's magnificent wings like it is an Angel. Wow. I think that's my favorite of all the pics you posted over the past year.

Great photos, as usual. Those birds kinda look like White Ibis.

Thanks. Yes they are Ibis. Very cool birds... they hardly make a sound and they don't mind people much either.

I posted this last year sometime, but this is a video where some of the video is slow motion of the Ibis made with my drone:

During the winter months when my wife and I are staying in SW Florida, we volunteer at the J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge on Sanibel-Captiva Island where we’ve been seeing and learning a lot about birds and wildlife. Ibis are around our place a lot and like in your video, we see large flocks flying over on their way back to the refuge for the night. There are so many species of wildlife there. Incredible place. Rob, if you’ve never visited there, with your photo skills, you should. Roseate Spoonbills in particular, which are bright pink like Flamingos make for great shots.

I'm in SE Florida and I've been to Sanibel a long time ago. It's great. I'll have to make another trip. We have Spoonbills here although they are not as common:
