Default Boss AD10 vs Zoom A1xfour

Hi what are your experiences with the both of these multi effects?
Which one “sucks” more tone? I’m a bit wary of multi effects from my experience in the 90s [emoji28]

Which is the better one, if cost is not a factor?
Thanks!

I have no experience with the AD10. I can tell you that I hated the old Zoom A2 (not to be confused with the more recent AC2). On the other hand, the Zoom A3 was a great value, as is the A1 Four. Unlike the A2, the A3 and the A1 Four don't seem to compromise my signal in any way.

I think it would be really hard to go wrong with that zoom. people are raving about it to the point where I read an article earlier today where a guy was recommending running two in tandem in using one for vocals and one for guitar.

I’m confused. The Zoom A1Four isn’t for vocals.

You are correct, but with the mic attachment it might work well. It seems to be designed to pick up a signal from many different acoustic instruments. Don’t see why vocals couldn’t work as well.
