Default Wide spec’d Mid-size guitar

These are few and far between I’m finding, but looking for a fingerstyle-forward steel string that has the following specs (or very close to).

-1 25/32” or 1 13/16” nut width

- 2 5/16” - 2 3/8” bridge spacing

-15.25” - 16” lower bout width

-4.25” - 4.6” body depth

Call me crazy, just think I’ve figured out the sweet spot

You can reach me fastest at [email protected]
Thanks in advance!

This is sort of a “close but no cigar” option —

Smile Mid Sized Guitar

Just curious if you also prefer a certain scale length?

Good luck with the search. Sounds fun.

Default Wide spec’d Mid-size guitar

I’d recommend looking for a pre-owned Mario Beauregard OM. Most of your needs can be met with one of Mario’s instruments...although the nut width might be an issue...usually 1-3/4”.

Look at Dream Guitars to see if they have anything, and if not, you can always look over past stock to review the specs.

Oh, as with most of the former Somogyi apprentices, scale might also be centered around 25.0” on his OM model.

What a thrill that’d be...

Budget is difficult to overcome... but I find it best to economize somewhere besides guitars! Better one great one than a dozen that do not inspire or feel right!

Enjoy the search

Paul

A Beauregard can be had for below $8k from what I’ve seen.
