Arrow Northwood R80 OM Custom - Sitka/Master Grade Flamed Maple **TRADED**

Strong fundamentals on this amazing John McQuarrie Northwood R80 OM Deep Body. The set of master grade flamed maple is simply stunning. Very light build as well at just under 4lbs which means incredibly responsive. This instrument can handle anything - fingerstyle, flatpick, strumming - very versatile. And surprising volume as well. This will blow any Taylor 600 series out of the water for the same price, or less.

Condition is excellent +. Some minor pick wear on the top. Otherwise in very, very good condition. Setup is great too - neck angle from a straight edge just above the bridge. Plenty of saddle left and action set at 0.100" @ 12th fret E.

And don't be afraid of the 1-13/16" nut width. You would probably never know it's 1/16" over 1-3/4".

Particulars:

Lower Bout 15-1/8"
Lower Bout Depth 4-5/8"
Nut Width 1-13/16"
Bridge String Spacing 2-3/16"
Scale length 24.9"

The very guitar with sound clips......

Say, Jeff ..... the Paramount site says the string spacing is 2 3/8". Which one is the misprint? Nice piece, by the way!!

Yes sir there is a discrepancy. Mine is correct. It's 2-3/16. Somewhat odd with the 1-13/16" nut width. I thought it was 2-3/8" this whole time, up until I went to list it for sale and measured to verify. I've played many 2-3/16" spacing guitars and this one FEELS wider. Probably due to the wider spacing along the neck. Or perhaps the placebo effect. LOL. I was a strict 2-1/4"+ bridge spacing guy up until I realized 2-3/16" didn't affect my ability to fingerstyle.

Where does your sale fit in the chronology of the current Paramount listing? Has it been there on consignment for you this whole time with no movement or have they not updated their site after you bought it or something else? I guess I'm asking as much because it bugs me how long some of those guitars seem to have sat there and I'm wondering if I'm missing something. I bought my Northwood from Paramount three years ago and had a good experience.

Got this from Kenn in a trade deal just last week. Intended to turn around and sell it. I already have a maple I’m fond of. However, I thought really hard about keeping this one because it sounds heavenly. I’ve dealt with Kenn at Paramount a few times. Always a pleasant experience. Kenn is great to work with.

Pretty awesome maple here folks. Won’t hurt my feelings to keep it. If you’re thinking about a Taylor 600 series this one will blow its doors off. Seriously.

A few maples have shown up on AGF. I'll put this one up against any of them. At a great value as well.

Let's make one more run at a little lower price. This is the bottom. I'd rather keep it. Leaning that direction anyway, it sounds that good.

Default Great Guitars

Northwood guitars are very balanced and light. I have a M70-000 that I love, don't miss out on this great deal!

Appreciate the kind words Morgan! One of the most underrated builders out there.

Now that I have one sold, I can open up trades for this. Perhaps an all hog MJ? Not really sure. just know I don't need another Maple. Got that covered.

1-3/4" nut a must, 2-1/4"+ bridge string spacing preferred.

Sometimes I miss the Northwood OO. Good luck with your sale Jeff. Let me know what you think of your old Martin sometime.
