It has a 1-3/4" nut width. I can check scale length and I'll need to email David to determine year built. I bought it used several years ago.

thanks,

Hank

Hank - You're way under-selling this one. Smokin' deal here, folks....

Wow this is solid deal on a Flammang! If I were in the market, this is a no brainer!

Hank - you and I have very similar tastes. Flammang's guitars are very impressive.

I agree - this is a killer deal. If I didn't have a bunch of guitars to sell this one would be on the way to me.

Thanks for posting the photos and links- this is a great guitar and is priced to sell!

I briefly put it on consignment at Sound Pure and decided it made more sense to sell it myself. It has a very warm and balanced sound with more richness (overtones) than you sometimes hear from mahogany.

I really like the guitar...but, sometimes you just need to "thin the herd" as we say... (I have no adult supervision at my house and hence, my herd has grown)

Please let me know if you are interested!

thanks,

Hank

Wink

We still would like to know the year she was built. Anyone know?

I sent David an email and haven't heard back yet. It is a low serial number and was build presumably before he moved to Iowa, so it has a few years on it.

Thanks for posting the link by the way Fitness....I didn't realize it was still up and running. Pretty decent description of the guitar.

Also thanks to Sound Pure...very cool store by the way in Durham!

All,

I just heard back from David and he says his records show the guitar was built in either 2001 or 2002 and sold originally by Mandolin Brothers.

The scale length is 25.4". He said the guitar was an LGC50 that he changed to 58 to signify the bear claw top.

The underside of the top is signed and dated...guess I need a dental mirror to confirm the year made.

New strings and still available as of tonight - it sounds great!
