Didn't Colorado Rockies have a week + off before the Red Sox swept them a couple of years ago? Always nice to have some days off but not a week.

Houston up 3-1. Hoping this ends today.

Well, Berra said it: “It ain’t over til it’s over.” The guys in pinstripes apparently wish to play another game . . . Or two.

I’m hoping the Astros rebound tonight at home.

Being a lifelong Sox fan, I tend not to notice when they're the beneficiaries of that kind of thing, but you're right. I think the Rox swept the DBax and waited while the Sox came back from a 3-1 deficit V Cleveland.

+1. First pitch is almost here. Looks like a bullpen session tonight.

Yankees showed a chance to get back in the game with that 2-run homer in OM the 9th. Then the Astros took it out of the park on the bottom of the 9th.

Yankee fan here, seen them lose lots of series over the years, but never to a team I like more than the Astros. For me, Altuve is Mr. Baseball.

This has worked out great for me since the Cubs folded late in the season. I was going to be happy as long as neither the Dodgers or Yankees ended up in the World Series. As it turned out the two teams in the playoffs I most wanted to see in the World Series did make it.

Yes! I was hoping for Cardinals v Twins, but I can live with this.

Glad the Astros won. I have no skin in the game for the world series but I'll root for the Nationals.

Astros have the biggest odds of winning the World Series since the Red Sox in 2007.

Looking like it’s going to game 7! These teams simply can’t win at home. [emoji23]

Default Congrats to the Nats

A nice story for them and their fans. My hat is off. Next year fingers crossed for the Mets!
