Default CA Glues

Question to the collective:

How to "soften" or otherwise De-Glue separate or unbind
parts held together with CA or some type of "super glue"

Heat and steam do not seem to be the answer and
I fear just impacting the parts to shear them apart.

Is there a chemical solution or formula for
taking apart things affixed with CA?

Thanks for the consideration!

You can purchase a bottle of CA debonder. Acetone softens CA as well. However, it lets go with heat (you do not need moisture). What do you have to separate?

be careful with the heat as CA will produce toxic fumes when heated too hot and/or burnt.

Actually typing with my nose since both my hands are presently....

I'm assuming a bit of CA was used to hold a tusq/plastic
bridge in a rosewood [i think] bridge doubt it's ebony.

Was hoping for a simple compound that was not too
aggressive on the finish or cause too much swelling.

Did not want to damage the bridge if possible but it's
alright if it is softened up tho.

Anything but a router!

Thanks for the posts!
