Emerald X7 at an Irish Music camp
Hi all - I took my new (to me 2019 model) Emerald X7 to the Portal (AZ) Irish Music camp last week....and it was a real winner. First, it was a delight to play with fiddles, flutes, banjos and button boxes - and it held its own really well in a full-on session mix. Acoustically, it was well balanced ( I use true mediums in DADGAD tuning) and multiple people complimented its sound quality. Additionally, everyone was very impressed with the Pao Ferro laminate and how it looked....it was a real piece of eye candy to a lot of folks who had never seen a carbon fiber guitar.
I had a great time at camp....and the guitar was a real hit. Cheers, Dave
