Yeah, that’s interesting! It’s a bit more expensive but smaller and more portable. One for vocals and one for guitar. You can move them around. No need for direct in, but I don’t don’t envision playing with a bass player. This would potentially capture my summer festivals from the stage too.

Is this "field" enough for you?

Being outdoors offers a huge advantage for recording: no room sound so you don't need to close mic or use pickups. If you know what you're doing a single Zoom H6 can sound fantastic with two guitars and two voices:
