Default Melbourne OO - Figured Oak and Douglas Fir - SOLD

14 fret to body short scale

Some, I haven't picked up a guitar in a month playing:

The Quartered Oak used on this instrument was recovered from an antique piece of furniture. The growth rings are so tight they can barely be counted. So we have figured wood that came from truly old growth trees and has been exposed to the air for over a century. The Douglas Fir top has been air dried for over 75 years. What a wonderful pairing of material. Certainly, an extremely light build that packs a full punch. It's a small bundle of awesomeness, full of delightful tone. I am sure that any songwriter would find many a tune waiting to be birthed from within its antiquity. Thanks much for taking a look.

Top Douglas Fir 75 year air dried
Back & Sides 100 year dry salvaged Oak
Fretboard & Bridge Rosewood 12" radius
Unbleached Bone nut & saddle
Nut width 1-23/32" s
Saddle string space 2-3/16"
Neck width at 12th 2-3/16"
Body depth 4-1/8" to 3-1/4"
Body width 14-1/4" Length 19-1/2" Overall Length 40"
Scale length 25"
Tru-oil neck finish
Extra thick cream binding
Access brown stage one case
A few finish pecks on top either side of fretboard extension . One tiny finish peck on side near endpin. Very minor finish settling on zipperstrip. Very small deals in the overall presentation of this instrument. Reflected in pricing.

SOLD shipped and PP'd.

Sounds fantastic, I didn't know that Douglass Fir sounded so clean and clear.
Thanks for posting
