Old/Vintage Yamaha FG Question....
Hopefully some of you Yamaha experts can help me out. I just came across a Yamaha 365SE at a local pawn shop - I had no idea that they were doing “E”’s back then. I own a 375S, and I’m very interested in this 365SE. Question: does anyone know anything about the electronics/pickups? I can’t find any info. The model was made in the early/mid 80’s - Anyway, I was really surprised they made a “E” model, and it seems to be a rare model to find at this point. Thanks in advance!

Apparently, Yamaha’s first FG factory-fitted with a pickup was the FG350E in 1972.
The FG365SE dates between 1981 and 1984. The nearest data I can find, chronologically, is from a 1985 (Japanese) catalog which shows two pickup systems, the APS-10 and APS-20. Hoping that might point you in the right direction. Regards, Clive |

Thanks! That’s more information than I could find, so I’m sure it will help.
