Haha... may she entice some flat-top players to give acoustic archtops a try.

Default La Conner Guitar Festival 2018

Had a fantastic time at the La Conner festival!

Thoroughly enjoyed meeting and talking to so many people. Thanks to all who stopped by to check out the guitars.

Here's the first of a few videos I have to share.

Sean McGowan playing the 17" Dark Cherry archtop in the Maple Hall. Sean is an incredible player from Colorado.

Still can't decide which pickup I like most.

Think I'm leaning towards the Armstrong P-90 single coil on the Lapis Lazuli.

I do love the warmth and woodiness of bigleaf maple back and sides on the Dark Cherry and Natural though, and the clarity of red spruce on the Honeyburst.

Those three have an Armstrong PAF, custom wound with Alnico 3 magnets.

I always wanted an underwater travel guitar.

Inlays of red and green abalone, black, white, and gold mother of pearl, reconstituted stone, malachite, chrysocolla, honey jasper, white web, obsidian, and opal.

Inspired by living near the beach here in southern California, and some of my many scuba travel adventures, I call this one 'Deep Pacific'

The woods are red spruce, bigleaf maple, and honduras rosewood.

Stainless steel frets, Armstrong P90, nitro lacquer with lapis lazuli jemstone.

16" wide, 3 to 3.5" deep, 25.4" scale, 1 3/4" nut, 4 lbs 11oz.

Thanks Damian,

I'll have it on display in Vancouver this weekend, or if you're more than welcome to come by the shop here sometime.

Tad
