I posed the question to Simon @ Emerald and got the following response:

Hi JR!

Currently we are offering ups with no upcharge to the customer.

The actual rates its costing us vary massively from state to state. The quote we get, then has a “fuel” surcharge on it. I think on average it works out to be around €135 a guitar.
